Simple Strat is a small content marketing agency that’s looking to make big waves in the world of B2B tech marketing. We’re looking for a talented graphic designer to join our team and help us crush our clients’ goals. 

An ideal Graphic Designer at Simple Strat:

• Is passionate about visual content and uses that passion to bring concepts to life in a variety of design formats, from ebooks and blog styling to infographics and social ads
• Understands the importance of visual design in how people communicate and take action, especially online, and how good design can create intuitive buying experiences
• Is deeply curious about B2B design and closely follows industry trends and thought leaders
• Has experience designing for B2B companies (bonus for SaaS experience)
• Is interested in how good design can serve as a catalyst for growth, by making calls to action more clear, creating interest and curiosity, and inspiring audiences online

 
Requirements for this role:

• You have experience designing B2B content marketing assets (brand guides, product marketing information, whitepapers, ebooks/guides, case studies, infographics, etc.)
• You understand and can explain basic B2B content marketing strategy and the role that design plays in it
• You have experience creating wireframes, mockups, and implementing styling for landing pages, websites, and emails
• You have an understanding of different types of visual content and the unique purposes they serve
• You have experience designing for multiple brands, at various stages of the funnel
• You are an expert in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and XD. Bonus for any experience in Premiere or After Effects.
• Demonstrated experience designing in popular CMS platforms such as WordPress
• Ability to work as a leader within the content team to translate written content into visual assets
• Ability to communicate vision and design philosophy and choices to clients 
• Bonus: You have experience with tools like HubSpot
• Bonus: You have experience with CSS, animation, and/or video editing

Specific responsibilities in this role:

• Design engaging, long-form content (blog styling, product marketing information, whitepapers, ebooks/guides, case studies, etc.)
• Create and follow brand standards for each client
• Work with strategists and account coordinators to determine content illustrations, graphics, and visuals
• Collaborate with writers and content specialists to repurpose content through new platforms and channels, each of which require a specific visual strategy
• Edit, provide feedback, and improve other designers’ work
• Create and update web pages, landing pages, emails and more in HubSpot and WordPress
• Create engaging social graphics and infographics that entice audiences to stop scrolling and take action

• This role is a full-time role (40 hours/week)
• This role is available as a remote or in-person position - Simple Strat has an office in the vibrant Historic Haymarket district of Lincoln, Nebraska
• Salary is based on experience and skillset
